Who is SATCOM?
"A Unique Association who's Mission is to Serve Early Adopters and Innovative Companies”
Since 1992, SATCOM has had a unique mission in the Baltimore-Washington corridor: working with innovative tech companies from incubator through industry leadership stages.
SATCOM is a 501(c)(6) non-profit with extensive administrative and consulting skills in all types of insurance and employee benefits. It has been selected by the Greater Baltimore Tech Council to administer its Health Insurance Program. It was the GBTC leadership that urged the formation of SATCOM more than a dozen years ago, to address Tech Council members needs for affordable, comprehensive health insurance.
SATCOM is prepared to do just that today. Directed by Clarke Langrall, Jr., a GBTC member with 30 years in the insurance business, SATCOM offers a variety of health plans from all the major insurance carriers in Maryland . It also provides insurance consulting tailored to the unique, cyclical needs of the technology industry.
