Each entry for the Master's Award will be judged on five primary items, out of a possible ten points. To win, your site must score a minimum of 42 out of 50 total potential points.
- Design and Layout - site has clean unique, original layout. Site downloads quickly in IE and Netscape. Colors, textures, headings, graphics blend aesthetically with content. There is consistency in design on all pages. Clean use of space and
content arrangement.
- Graphics - graphics are original, created by the award applicant. Graphics are compressed for easy loading.
Images provide meaning and complement content. Images complement the general design and layout of site. Graphic copyright is clearly indicated.
- HTML Code Accuracy - All coding is accurate and free of errors. Coding is clean and free of extraneous components. Images are coded correctly and display accurately. Links are current and coded correctly. Java, plug-ins, Flash, multimedia components are coded carefully to assure easy access.
- Navigation - Clear, user-friendly navigation schema used. Navigation titles are clear, easy to read. All links are functional. Consistent navigation scheme on all site pages.
- Content - Content is clear, accurate and free of spelling/grammatical errors. Content provides value to a select viewer population. Text and content is well laid out within the site design. Content is free of profanity, discrimination or "isms".
Content reflects a professional approach to providing a service and/or information.
